Low-Fee Spay/Neuter Services

The Marin Humane Society Veterinary Clinic performs low-fee spay/neuter surgeries for cats and dogs of Marin County residents. In addition, every January, May, August and November, the Society's Cat Fund in conjunction with several local veterinarians provide low-cost spay and neuter surgeries for felines.

Cats

Neuter $55.00
Spay $60.00
Feral Cat Package* $75.00

*Includes: Spay/Neuter, FIV & FELV tests, Rabies & FVRCP Vaccinations, Parasite Treatment, Microchip, Ear Tipping. If you need assistance with trapping feral cats, please contact Marin Friends of Ferals.

Dogs

Due to their compact breathing passageways which causes a higher risk during anesthesia, we will no longer be offering spay/neuter for the following breeds (mixes of these breeds are welcome):

Boston Terrier
(Old) English Bulldog   
French Bulldog
Japanese Chin
Pekingese
Pug

Spay:
Under 30 lbs. $125.00
Over 30 pounds, please call for referral.

Neuter:

Under 50 lbs. $125.00
50–74 lbs. $150.00
75–100 lbs. $175.00
100 lbs. and over $200.00


Rabbits

$75 for spay or neuter. Price includes a microchip. Rabbit spay/neuters done on Mondays only.
