Santa Photos with Your Pets!

Donate your used books

The holidays have gone to the dogs ... and the cats and the small companion animals!

Bring your four legged friends to the Marin Humane Society to have their photo taken with Santa.

Yes, they will sit on Santa’s lap (or next to, if they prefer) and have a professional photo taken with the Jolly Old Elf.

You will leave with two 4 x 6 prints the same day, and we will email you the digital file (to make your own holiday cards, if you like!).

We ask that dogs be on leash and that cats be in carriers when they arrive to the shoot (guinea pigs and rabbits, too!).

All proceeds benefit the shelter animals.

Saturday and Sunday, November 29 and 30
Noon – 3PM

Wednesday, December 3
7 - 9PM

Help Pets of People-in-Need this
Holiday Season

Donate your used books

With your help, hundreds of Marin's less fortunate pets will receive a special holiday delivery this season!

Especially during these hard economic times, you can make a difference for Marin's less fortunate dogs and cats by donating pet food and supplies to the Marin Humane Society. Each donation will be used to fill gift bags for the Marin Humane Society's SHARE (Special Human Animal Relationships) clients. Donations may be delivered to MHS from now through December 12.

Of particular need to our clients are:

  • Cans of wet cat food
  • Small bags of dog and cat food

Financial contributions are welcomed and will be used to purchase additional gift items.

About the MHS SHARE program:
Through a variety of programs, SHARE fosters positive relationships between humans and animals. In particular, our Side-by-Side program provides a lifeline for more than 200 seniors and disabled clients and their pets in times of need. Assistance is offered in the form of pet food, veterinary care, grooming, home visits, transportation to the vet, dog walking, and other services to support the care of their pets.

For more information, call the SHARE program coordinator at 415.506.6264.
